A week 6 DraftKings lineups built on Caleb Williams’ return

Caleb Williams returns to lead a Bears-Falcons stack with Kalif Raymond and a Drake London runback, while Jonathan Taylor and Puka Nacua headline a $49,600 lineup.

The lineup in Week 5 was not good. We had a handful of players who held the rest of the lineup back. The lineup finished middle-of-the-pack. As expected, four players from the Cardinals vs. Lions game were chalky players that we needed to avoid. DFS can get crazy, which is why we trust the math, especially when building for a single-entry contest. Here is my favorite stand-alone Week 6 DraftKings DFS lineup! Read more: A week 6 DraftKings lineups built on Caleb Williams’ return.

Week 6 DraftKings lineup: Caleb Williams, Rhamondre Stevenson, Jonathan Taylor, Drake London, Puka Nacua, Kalif Raymond, Isaiah Likely, Tyler Higbee and the Jets defense. $49,600 of $50,000.
The full lineup, slot by slot, with DraftKings salaries as of Friday.

QB: Caleb Williams - $6,200

It looks like Caleb Williams is back this week, which is good news for the Bears. The team has struggled to throw the ball without him. Williams had 269 passing yards in Week 1, and 138 in Week 2 in a rainy game against, arguably, the league’s best defense in the Vikings. He played 86% of snaps in that contest. They managed 165 passing yards against the Packers last week from a combination of Tyson Bagent and Case Keenum.

Williams also had 65 yards on the ground in the first game, but don’t expect that rushing production as he returns from a hamstring injury. The matchup is not perfect, but the total is 51.5. Kyle Monangai is not playing, so they will have to lean on D’Andre Swift and Roschon Johnson in the backfield. I expect Ben Johnson to open up the passing attack and give Williams a lot of opportunities to throw the ball this week.

RB: Jonathan Taylor - $8,000

Jonathan Taylor is coming off a horrendous game against the Steelers. He managed 45 yards on 15 carries, adding three receptions for 37 yards. He should be counted on a lot against the Titans. Teams are starting to focus solely on Taylor because of Daniel Jones’ struggle, but it likely doesn’t matter this week.

Tennessee has not won a game this season, scoring a league-low 11.6 points per game. The Colts should get up early in this game, despite Jones, and give Taylor a lot of carries as they control the ball.

RB: Rhamondre Stevenson - $6,000

TreVeyon Henderson practiced on Thursday and Friday after suffering a high ankle sprain last week. He was surprised that he was able to practice, and he has not been ruled out yet. Still, it is unlikely he plays against the Jets this week. High ankle sprains usually take weeks to heal, so the Patriots are likely to err on the side of caution. That gives Rhamondre Stevenson a chance to get a lot of volume.

This offense is clicking right now after three bad weeks to start the season. They are scoring a lot of points and should continue against the Jets. Stevenson likely plays a large role in that. The Jets allow the 13th-highest explosive run rate and the ninth-most yards before contact per attempt. They also have the sixth-highest missed tackle rate. Stevenson should dominate with a lot of volume.

WR: Puka Nacua - $8,100

This is likely a high-owned player in all contests this week, but it makes sense. Puka Nacua had 24 targets last week, finishing with 17 receptions, 138 yards, and a touchdown. He draws the Cardinals this week, who allowed 45 points to the Lions last week. Nacua should see a lot of targets this week and score a touchdown against this lousy defense.

WR: Drake London - $7,000

Nobody has benefited from the return of Michael Penix Jr. more than Drake London. Penix has played three games, and in those games, London is averaging 136 yards per game, but has not scored a touchdown all season. The Bears’ secondary allowed two 100-yard receivers last week, and they do not have anybody who can guard London. It should be a high-scoring game, and London is my favorite player to target in this matchup.

WR: Kalif Raymond - $3,900

I’m stacking Kalif Raymond with Williams in this game. Drake Maye and DeMario Douglas were a profitable stack last week, and the mindset is the same here. I am stacking Williams with his cheapest available receiver. He could be a big part of the game plan this week.

Atlanta plays the fourth-highest rate of single high, and Raymond dominates against that coverage. He is second on the team with 24% of targets per route run and a 2.37 YPRR. He is a sneaky play this week and has shown chemistry with Williams in the past.

TE: Isaiah Likely - $4,800

Jameis Winston loves Isaiah Likely. In four games, Likely has 40 targets, which is 10 per game. Last week, Likely scored twice and caught 10 passes. He has a strong matchup this week, which makes him even better. The Saints allowed 10 receptions, 116 yards, and a touchdown against Brock Bowers in Week 3. This is a matchup that could end up being a shootout, and Likely is becoming the focal point of this passing attack.

FLEX: Tyler Higbee - $3,400

Higbee has filled in well after Terrance Ferguson hit the IR. Over the last three weeks, he has 18 receptions, 212 receiving yards, and a touchdown. The matchup is favorable for him, and I expect Stafford to look his way a lot. Arizona has allowed the most yards per target and the third-most fantasy points per opportunity to tight ends. Higbee is undervalued this week.

DEF: Jets - $2,200

After building my lineup, I was able to choose between four defenses. The Jets were the most favorable of them all, despite playing the scorching Patriots. They had eight sacks last week, along with two fumble recoveries. They have six turnovers this season and are getting after the quarterback. They can easily score enough points to make this lineup profitable.
