Valkyries and Dream meet in Game 3 at State Farm Arena
The WNBA Finals shift to Atlanta's much bigger arena Wednesday with the series tied 1-1 and the market making the Dream short favorites.

It is the first game of this Finals in Atlanta, and it will not be at the Dream's regular home. The league moved Games 3 and 4 from Gateway Center Arena, which seats about 3,500, to State Farm Arena, which holds roughly 17,000.
Dream president Morgan Shaw Parker said the switch was about the crowd the team has drawn this season. "This team has earned that audience, these fans have come out for us, in droves," she said.

The venue change pushed the date as well. Game 3 had been set for Thursday, Oct. 22, before the league moved it up a day to work around a concert already booked at State Farm Arena. Game 4 stays in Atlanta on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET.
Golden State won Game 1 at Chase Center 68-64 on Oct. 17, with Gabby Williams scoring 26 points. Atlanta answered two nights later, outscoring the Valkyries 21-9 in the third quarter of a 79-65 win that evened the series. Angel Reese had 30 points and 16 rebounds in that game.
Jones out, Gray and Williams playing through it
Atlanta is already down a starter. Brionna Jones, the Dream's three-time All-Star center, missed most of the season recovering from offseason knee surgery before returning to the lineup in July. A left leg injury on Aug. 13 ended her year. Atlanta ruled her out for the rest of the season in September, and she has not played in this series.
Guard Allisha Gray has. She hurt her left hand in the opening game of the semifinal round against New York. A minor procedure followed, and she missed two games before returning for Finals Game 1 on Oct. 17.
"Finger felt good," she said afterward. Gray scored 19 points in that game and followed with 18 in Game 2, and no new issue with the hand has been reported since.
Williams managed just 14 points on 3-of-15 shooting in Game 2 as Atlanta's defense tightened up. The Valkyries reported no injuries entering Game 3.
DraftKings Sportsbook listed Atlanta as a 3.5-point favorite for Game 3, at -162 on the moneyline against Golden State's +136, according to Sports Illustrated's betting desk. The total was set at 151.5 points. Lines like these can move before tip-off.
Atlanta has been to the Finals three times before this season and was swept in each of those trips. Game 4 follows Saturday at 1 p.m. ET, still at State Farm Arena.
