**Danhausen Opens the Night**

M: Danhausen started the night off hyping the night. Thought that was great!

J: It was great to see Danhausen take the lead on this show. Definitely a very fitting character for a Halloween episode. A lot of fun in store, can’t wait to see what’s to come. Before Danhausen made it big he made some appearances in local indie West Virginia shows so definitely a full circle moment.

**Cody Rhodes Rambles**

M: Up first, our American Nightmare Cody Rhodes. Just rambles about how he's worried about how much he will hurt Randy. Feels bad about his wife and five kids.

J: Would have liked to see Randy appear, but there is a lot of talent here. Cody brought a lot of energy to the show and I’ll definitely never complain about getting to see Kingdom live. Got to sing it three times in person now. I feel like Randy needs to win the feud thought for the sake of seeing someone else in the title picture.

**Chelsea Green Stands Tall Amid the Chaos**

M: Chelsea dressed as a monster, aka Fearless Nikki Bella, lol.

Danhausen wanted to trade Tiffy Two-Time's briefcase. She shot him down.

Chelsea did not look bad at all. Looked like a strong champion and took the win. Out came Liv to boos. Liv started complimenting Chelsea, then started putting her down. Made no sense. Tiffy Two-Time is out, briefcase in hand. Chelsea did a horrible Unprettier on Liv. Tiffy cashing in... attacked before she could. IYO out. Still not sure why this connection. Judgment Day is just too dominant, and they have been for many years now.

J: Chelsea Green dressed as Nikki Bella vs Nikki Bella definitely left me confused a few times during the match. Overall both performed well and it was a great start to the match. This is the first time I’ve seen the WWE Championship defended. Chelsea Green wins on a roll up. I feel like the champ deserves a more convincing win.

The Tiffany Stratton moment was exciting. As soon as Liv appeared I figured we’d see a tease at a cash in. Ultimately, Liv escaped by the skin of her teeth again. I still feel like all of this will lead into an eventual cash in on Green, but I wouldn’t mind seeing Tiffany beat Liv eventually instead.

**Sami Zayn Backstage**

M: Sami Zayn backstage talking about his match with Trick Williams. This reporter is the biggest Sami Zayn fan. Reports say he is refusing to go to Crown Jewel, despite being scheduled for a match. Let's see if he keeps the belt.

J: This reporter is the biggest Trick Williams fan. Excited to see him get his first chance at the title, but the story of Roman and Sami is to big in my opinion. Sami will likely retain.

**Fenix vs. Saints: The AAA Problem**

M: Up next is AAA Champion Rey Fenix against Ricky Saints. I am so tired of showcasing the AAA belts on our shows. Makes no sense, two SmackDown wrestlers are fighting for a AAA belt. I'd be OK if it was an AAA wrestler against SmackDown or against Raw, but at least one competitor should be from AAA.

**Commercial Break Cravings**

M: I don't know about John Boggess, but Arby's and Domino's ads make me hungry.

J: I definitely got hungry about this time, my options were hot dogs, pretzels, pop corn and nachos though. I went with some classic nachos and cheese.

**Giulia and Blake Recap**

M: Recapping Giulia and Blake from last Friday. Now Blake in a backstage segment. She now wants Chelsea Green. But Paige wants to fight her first.

J: Giulia and Paige actually both fought on the Main Event taping before the Smackdown show began. It was great to see both competitors. I wish Blake Monroe would have made an in ring appearance but was cool to see Paige.

In case anyone watches Main Event, I won’t spoil. The matches included Giulia vs Nia Jax, Candice LeRae vs Paige, and Kyoki vs Talla Tonga.

**Rey Fenix vs. Ricky Saints**

M: Now finally up to Saints and Fenix... have not watched much AEW, but this match puts two recent AEW wrestlers wrestling for the AAA Cruiserweight Title on WWE programming. Rey Fenix just continues to impress me. I am not a Luchador fan, but Rey has my attention every match I see him in. Fans seem to really be behind this match. Wonder what John hears live. Rey wins.

J: First time I am seeing these two perform live. Overall, I enjoyed the match and the crowd did too. Rey Fenix has some killer moves. As expected, Fenix retains.

**New Tag Champs Backstage**

M: New Tag Team Champions B-Fab and Michin, aka The Baddies, backstage. Fatal Influence comes in and congratulates the champs.

**Tatum and Jade Up Next**

M: Tatum Paxley and Jade Cargill up next for some reason.

J: I was happy Michin and B-Fab finally got a moment to be tag champs. They are a legit tag team while lately, other than Fatal Influence, it seems like they give the tag titles to two wrestlers who should be wrestling singles matches. I do wish we could have seen more of Tatum Paxley as a tag team champion with Alexa Bliss. Still, excited Paxley is performing in Charleston for Halloween.

**Arby's Break**

M: Had to go grab an Arby's Cheesesteak after seeing all the commercials. Must say it was good, but this reporter wishes he tried the chicken Philly instead.

**Trick Williams Talks**

M: Back to action... or back to backstage, I should say. Trick Williams jaw-jacking about his match with Sami.

J: Almost time! WHOOP THAT TRICK!

**Danhausen's Gingerbread Man**

M: Danhausen is resurrecting the gingerbread man.

J: Our Editor Johnathan Edwards texted me before the show he thought Danhausen might resurrect the gingerbread man. My jaw dropped when in fact the gingerbread man was back to life. My only complaint was why did the gingerbread only stay backstage.

**Jade vs. Tatum**

M: Jade's out first. Tatum jumps her from behind. Jade and Tatum both seem to be in Halloween-inspired gear. Not sure who they are supposed to be. Corey mentioned Batman for Jade's outfit, and Cole noted Tatum is not dressed for Halloween, just her everyday attire. Crowd seems dead. Missed opportunity with Alexis and Tatum, your two Halloween-style wrestlers. SmackDown used to go all out on these editions. A lot of outside shenanigans, and Jade puts Jaded on Tatum.

J: Jade Cargill and Tatum Paxley were dressed in costumes that’s are more modernly recognized. Cargill was dressed as Poison Ivy from the DC Universe while Tatum Paxley was dressed as the Marinette from Five Nights at Freddy’s. It was great to see Paxley wrestle, but I agree with Monty that it was kind of sad to not see Alexa used more for Halloween. Both put on a good performance, but I wish Tatum got the win.

**Priest Wants Bigger Matches**

M: Now we find out what Danhausen's been creating, but first Priest wants bigger and better matches. Fraxiom comes out and wants to wrestle Priest.

J: Priest should have better opportunities. There is unfortunately a lot of talent in the title picture at the moment. I fear it’ll be a while before he gets his chance. However, Sami as champ has provided a lot of opportunities for new faces. Maybe Priest will get more opportunity once he deals with Fraxiom. Fun fact, out of the four WWE shows I’ve been too, Priest has wrestled at every one I’ve been to until now.

**The Demon Returns**

M: Danhausen's reveal... what is it??? Gunther comes out. Powerbombs him through a table. Takes him to the ring... lights go out... out come the Minihausens... 4 of them attack Gunther... turns into a Monster Mash, says Cole. Throws pumpkins at the Minihausens. Then chops on them. Corey calls it Gremlins. Powerbombs Minihausens through tables. In a chokehold, but Danhausen cursed Gunther... out comes the Demon... he's back!!!! Demon, top of the ladder, Coup de Grace. Holy shit, chants erupt through the arena in Charleston, WV. Danhausen and The Demon stand tall. Best segment of the night!!

J: I had no words this entire segment. Truly a phenomenal segment to witness live. I loved all of the Halloween decor and left and right surprises. Once The Demon came out I was truly shocked. The person behind me said it well, “I never thought I’d see that in person.” I didn’t think I would either. But here in Charleston, West Virginia he returned. I really hope The Demon character sticks around for Balor for a while. He’s fallen short and deserves a moment that’ll push him. Gunther’s dominance may be in trouble if he steps foot in the ring with The Demon. Additionally, I never thought I’d see the Minihausens either. What a moment.

**KO and Punk Recap**

M: KO and Punk recap of their rivalry. Rumor is KO refused to go to Crown Jewel, so him and Punk, No Holds Barred, next Friday on SmackDown.

J: I wish that match could’ve been this week. I haven’t seen either wrestle live. Nonetheless I’m sure it’ll be a great match next week and I am excited to watch it.

**WWE World Title: Sami Zayn vs. Trick Williams**

M: Up now, the WWE World Title match. The Last Real Good Guy against Trick Williams. Challenger out first, as well it should be. Trick is 2-0 against Sami. Lil Yachty is here. Sami out next with the Gargano and LeRae.

Sami won by DQ, but Pierce made it a No DQ match. Trick almost won instantly... Zayn Blue Thunder Bomb on Trick on chairs!! Trick kicked out... Sami with the title. Trick with a Trick Shot. Sami kicks out at one, two!! Sami with a low blow, belt shot to the head, one, two, three, Sami Zayn still our Last Real Good Guy WWE Champion!!!

J: I knew this match would end with Sami winning, but man I really had some moments I thought Trick was going to pull it off. It was exciting from start to finish and the surprise restart with no DQ was exciting.

Even though Trick lost, I’m glad it was a great match. The finish did not make Trick weak, it was just a battle that saw Sami capitalize in the moment. Trick will do great things in his career, but Sami is getting a run he arguably has earned for his years of dedication in the business as a mid carder. At least Trick still has the United States title. Ultimately, he doesn’t need two belts.

**After Show Dark Match: Oba Femi, LA Knight, and Solo Sikoa vs The Vision**

J: A great surprise for the night, The Ruler Oba Femi is in Charleston. He’s here to take on The Vision with the help of LA Knight and Solo Sikoa. Knight and Theory start the match. Theory goes out the ring to see his girlfriend Maxine Dupri. Then LA Knight goes out the ring and pretends to be Theory with out Maxine realizing. She was not happy. Eventually, Knight tags in Solo and Theory tags in Reed. Reed dominates, the crowd wants Oba. The vision don’t let Solo tag out. After a brutal beating, and the Vision tagging back and forth to take care of Solo, Oba is finally tagged in. Together the three take out the vision. Solo hits a spike on Theory, LA Knight hits a BFT on Breakker, then Femi tosses Reed into the air. Finally, Femi seals the deal with a fall from grace on Theory. I’m glad I got to see all these guys in the ring, but disappointed we didn’t see one spear from Breakker or a Tsunami from Reed. Guess you have to protect the talent in a dark match. Mark Nash thanks everyone for coming and the night ends.

Thank you WWE for giving West Virginia a phenomenal first Smackdown. I hope we’re on the tour schedule for years to come.
